More About Aaron
Aaron Pott’s journey into the world of wine began at age nine during a family trip to Paris, where a French waiter replaced his request for milk with a glass of wine. This early encounter ignited his passion, leading him to earn a Fermentation Science Degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Viticulture degree from the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France. With extensive experience in Napa Valley and Bordeaux, including notable roles at Château Troplong Mondot and Château La Tour Figeac, Aaron has made a significant impact in the wine industry. Today, he crafts exceptional wines under his own Pott label, serves as the exclusive winemaker at Seven Stones and consults for several prestigious wineries worldwide. Named one of Food and Wine Magazine’s “Winemakers of the Year” in 2012, Aaron's innovative spirit and dedication to the craft continue to leave a lasting imprint on the wine industry.

Missing Thorn offers “a white, a red, a rose and a sparkling, all of which are amazing. Aaron is one of the greatest winemakers the valley has, and his quest to bring the world an NA wine that looks, tastes and smells like great wine was much needed and appreciated.”
